He hails from Pangasinan and is under the stable of hunky stallions nurtured by Mother Childe Libertad.. He is tall, he is moreno and he has a body to die for. All these, aside from his charisma and humility are maybe the main reasons why he was popular among the crowd as he set the stage ablaze when he joined Ginoong Filipinas 1995. He was second runner-up at the time when the Cebuanos under the person of Mark Katada and John Lawrence Aquino lord supreme in the judges tally board. After the contest, he ventured into showbusiness and we were a part of his growth as an actor and as a person. We were a part of his struggle ... the laughter, his tears and sweat, the price he has to pay when he joined Seiko films . His determination is what make him survive in the jungle that is showbiz.
