Walang Tulugan of Master Showman Kuya German Moreno has been the home of Mr. World Philippines after Christopher Celis reign in 1996, and yesterday another Pinoy hunk was selected to represent the country in the Mr. World Pageant which will be held in Incheon Korea late next month.
Since its inception in 1996, Mr. World becomes the most elusive of all crowns as Philippines bets went home empty-handed one after another. Even the minor awards becomes eely and evasive. Just like the female counterpart, the Miss World becomes a thorn if not a nightmare to BB. Pilipinas Charities. The winner this year is Alvin de Joya, a 23 year old stunner from Cauayan City, Isabela and he is up for an enormous task tucked in his sleeves.
He is a registered nurse and a part time model; he towers six ft and 2 inches and he graduated from Far Eastern University. If we remember it right, he also joined Mr. International Philippines last year and went home only with a minor award.
The first runner up is Jericho Intacto, 25 year old from Mandaluyong City and Second runner up was Jason Villegas from Manila. Photo Credits: OPMB Worldwide and Jory Rivera.
