Heron Salvini is only 18 years old and was the first runner up in Mr. Ilha Grande 2011. The winner Renato Ferreira could not make it on time for Mr. Brazil 2011 because of some cotractual constraints from his agency in New York and thus giving Heron Salvini the chance to take over his responsibilities as the second winner.
