Eduardo Rodriguez was the winner in El Modelo Mexico 1998. On the same year, he was sent to Troia Portugal to compete in the biannual Mr. World Contest won by Sandro Finoglio of Venezuela. Eduardo went home empty handed but the experience was very memorable for him as he was given the chance as a model and then as an actor.
