The Brapanese invasion is far from over. After giving in to the troika of Akihiro Sato, Hideo Muraoka and Daniel Matsunaga- more models of Brapanese persuasion are invading the modelling scene .... and not only that showbusiness and television as well. Last night I was watching the Comedy Bar of Pinoy TV, and another Brapanese Fabio Luis Ide was real cute with his antics as he tries Pinoy tongue twisters, and I think he was successful in that regard, because my friends were really having a time of their life laughing.

And if you are not keen and observant about what is going on in the biz, another group ... the Japinoys are also making their presence felt. Jiro Shirakawa at ABSCBN is stealing scenes from

the lead stars of Gimik and Kazuo Nawa provides an able support. On the GMA side, Sadatsugu

Suzuki after his Survivor Palau stint is not a pushover either.

In the pageantopolis, another Japinoy is curving his way to be another certified kontesero. His name is Hiroshi Torobu, and his youthful looks and infectious smiles makes multiply photographers go gaga about getting his service. I think he is just waiting in the periphery, and when the time is ripe, he is going to spread his wings ... and showbiz ... here comes Hiroshi!

Where is Ardin Tuga? Will somebody find the man?

Ardin is from Mindanao and as I was browsing one souvenir program at St Paul's College in Iloilo, where I was once a part of ...I know the guy was quite familiar. I was asking myself where the hell I saw him and I have that itching suspicion that it was Ardin, my multiply friend, one of the promising nurse turned photog I have seen in years.

Indeed I was right ... when my niece who also graduated at St Paul's verified that nagging feeling of deja vu, (a feeling that you have seen a person or a place sometime in your past?)

Now I have seen Ardin's pictures somewhere, and it look like he was enrolled in one of the flying school in Dubai or Bahrain. Was he training to become a flight attendant? Or ... hold your breath ... maybe a pilot? Wow ... the man is going places ....!

Well I just want to pose these questions to Ash Castro and his group where Ardin Tuga used to hang out .... or where Ardin was nurtured in his formative years in his search for being one of the topnotch ... if not the most promising hunky photographer in town.

Ash ... am I right again?

JC Ong is a Pinoy model and a student of San Beda. He is a campus heartthrob having once entered in Mr. San Beda himself and landing himself in top spot. Girls start giggling as he stride himself in the university corridor. His eyes can be piercing and his set of pearly white teeth sparkle like one of those models in the Close Up commercials. Photographer Ardin Tuga captured 100 percent of his boyish charm and their collaboration will be remembered for a long time as a breakthough ... it is refreshing to see the finished images.
