Juan Perez Hilario joined Mr. Venezuela 2004 but was not lucky enough to get into the semis. Later he joined Mr. Handsome Venezuela 2004 and finally nailed the title and won. Venezuela send him to Mr. Handsome International 2004 held in the Dominican Republic and lighting striked two for him and he did vindicate himself from being totally ignored in the first pageant he joined.
