ABS CBN has already produced several hundreds of talents under its name and in 2004 they made a big left turn when they change course and format. Instead of the usual auditioning of talents and behind TV camera training and make over, a genius idea was concocted, and knowing what and how stars rake in monetary profits, SCQ - Star Circle Quest was born.
The search was now reality-based-show and basing from the hoopla created by Hero Angeles and Sandara Park on its first year, another set of talents were discovered, nurtured and trained in 2005.
DM Sevilla, Jason Abalos, Arron Villaflor, Charles Christianson, Theo Barnados, OJ Decena, and Reynan Pitero belongs to this group. Everybody knows the most successful in this group was Jason and Arron and aside from having teleserye and movies left and right, Jason has already an acting award to his name and Arron the grand winner of a dance -talent search also produced by ABS CBN.
On the other hand DM Sevilla after a lackluster start, decided to go back to school and finished his Bachelors In Science in Nursing course... whiich is a good thing. And now that he has done that, he is back in a vengeance, and his comeback was made via Maalaala Mo Kaya playing an able support to Sid Lucero. Will this start a new wave of assignments for DM? Hope springs eternal!
