Here is the second installment of Joshua Fifield's adventure as a common "tao" where he was shown being dipped in mud. Kudos should go to the model himself for braving the challenge, and he pass it with flying color. The same thing can be said to Dookie Ducay, who has a way with words and whose persuasive language sounds like music to Joshua's ears.
Indeed I can't help but ask Dookie these questions: Was there any hesitation at all in Joshua's part to do the task knowing how young the kid was ... and their idea of playing in the mud can be spelled in one word: Y-U-C-K! Did he accept the idea hook, line and sinker ... knowing he will itch ... or he may have allergies(you know youngsters ... they really are protective of their skin ... much more the vital parts inside). The questions are valid and are worth mentioning ... don't you think?
All in all the total package is worth the effort. Dookie has really the eye of the camera, and his lens magnifies Joshua's innocense to its core. He has also the penchant for details and the images are poetry in motion. The black and white color gave the photos the character ... why it is even a classic ... in my book!
I just hope I can feature David Eric Poarch next. Let me say this ...Joshua and David deserves a pat in the shoulder for really trying to know their roots. It will be some kind of inspiration to millions of Filipino Americans and other Filipinos around the world who had no chance and opportunity to go home and see what life is ... in their homeland. To Dookie ... keep up the good work. Here's looking for more good photographer-model collaborations in the future.
