One of the most exciting and the most colorful part of any pageant competetion is the national costume parade. In some part, the candidates looks too uncomfortable with it, some of the costumes are too heavy, some of the materials maybe is too itchy, and some costumes are too elaborate and enormous it almost occupy the stage. But for the designers and the pageant organizers who have brainstorming and cracking their heads off on what costume fits the candidate they send and what ticks and what converts to the judges nod is the biggest challenge.
In this batch, except maybe for Belgium and Austria, all the costumes are well thought of. You could smell the sweat or maybe the tears that accompanies its creation not to mention the little dramas that happen behind the scenes.
We thank our very good friend Julio Rodriguez who is maybe the luckiest man in the face of the earth. Golly, he has all the time to witness all the events that we ordinary guys didn't experience, not to mention his personal money spent everytime there is an international pageant. You are a "rara avis" and for all the images that we are using right now, a million thanks. One question though Julio and you can email me your answer: Why did you choose to go to Mr. International instead of going to Manhunt International in which the schedule almost overlaps each other?" Indeed I am intrigued and I am dying to know the answer!
